Sony Electronics 4K Ultra HDTV XBR65X900A - Now at Ernie's in Ceresco

Just in at Ernie’s in Ceresco is the new Sony Electronics 4K Ultra HDTV. We have two sizes, the 55” and the 65”, and can special order the 84” model.

Sony 4K Ultra HDTV

The 4K Ultra HDTV is a new TV resolution with four times the pixels of  regular HD, greatly enhancing the quality of your screen picture!

With the Ultra HDTV, you’ll see more depth and shades of color than you’ve ever seen on a TV before. This is a greatly improved picture for larger screen applications, and will greatly reduce the ability for viewers to see any visible pixel structure on the screen. This means even smoother images and better depth.

Add in 65 watts of powerful, cinematic sound plus Wi-Fi® connectivity and it’s the highest resolution, most immersive experience Sony has ever created.

One of the coolest things about it is that, when combined with the fastest screen refresh rates, in the new 55” and 65” Sony XBR products, Ultra HD delivers almost as much depth as 3D without the need for those clunky glasses!

Ultra HD is in addition to, not in place of the current HDTV broadcast, just as 3D is currently. It is possible that some day, just like with the recent over-the-air DTV transition, there will probably come a time when 4K become the standard, but that would be unlikely in the next several years.
